What is JobTarget?

Since 2001, JobTarget has been helping organizations and the right candidates find each other. Since its founding, its services have been used to post over 100 million jobs. JobTarget has been helping organizations by solving the most tedious tasks associated with job posting.  JobTarget when integrated with Wisestep allows our customers to deliver their job postings to job boards available on the internet. You can post jobs directly from Wisestep without managing separate accounts for each job board. You can also monitor status updates for each of these postings and the number of applicants coming through these job boards.

  • The JobTarget Marketplace will be presented in a pop out app and provides a search mechanism based on job title and other key data.  The boards vary in topic from general to niche and cost to no-cost.
  • After selection and checkout, the posted job board information is updated in Wisestep.  The user can update and/or stop the jobs in JobTarget from Wisestep.

How to Configure?

It happens automatically on posting the first job. If you are the workspace admin/owner, a recruiter admin account is created on JobTarget with your email(connected to your Wisestep account). If you are not workspace admin, recruiter account is created for you and an admin account for your workspace admin/owner. An account is created for every new user who posts job on JobTarget. 


How to Publish?

First, you need to create a job on your Wisestep account. Jobs can be posted on JobTarget Marketplace at the time of creating it on Wisestep. Alternatively, from the jobs list you can select "Post Job Ad" to post on JobTarget. 


Create Job (on Wisestep)

Login to your wisestep account, select “New Job” under Jobs. Select the job admin team(optional) and proceed to the next step. Fill all the required fields and click on “Create Job”.


Post Job (on JobTarget) 

After a job is created on Wisestep, you will see an option to post the job on JobTarget. Click on “Post on JobTarget”. After the job is posted, you will be redirected to JobTarget marketplace, where you can select the required job sites and post. 



Job Status 

To know the status of your job postings, open your wisestep account and go to jobs. Click on the maximise button on the chosen job. Go to the “Job Postings” tab where you will see posting details - job sites, views, applications, manage and delete options.


 



Manage Job (View, Delete or Edit)

You can view, edit or delete a job postings from the job details page(Job Postings tab) on your Wisestep account. You will be redirected to JobTarget. 


Receiving Applications?

While posting a job on JobTarget, you can select your preferred mode of receiving applications - via Email, Apply URL or others. We recommend you to select Apply URL so that we can save the candidate information on your Wisestep account and send an email notification to you. 



FAQs


Q. Is there a fee to use JobTarget?

A. No, there are no account fees to utilize the JobTarget Marketplace, but there is a $5 delivery fee on each board selected for posting.

Q. Is a client account/user id required before posting jobs via JobTarget.

A. No, the account and user id are setup during the initial launch of JobTarget if one does not already exist.  This is transparent to the user and requires no intervention.


Q. Can images or URLs be included in the job description for the posting.

A.  Yes, images or URLs can be included in the job description, but they might not show on all selected       job sites, some sites allow them, some do not.


Q. If I complete the checkout process and then delete my posting before the noted expiration date do, I receive a credit from JobTarget?

A. No, JobTarget does not provide a refund for any job postings that are removed.


Q. If I remove a job from JobTarget, do I need to pay again to post it?

A. Yes, if you remove a job from JobTarget, you must pay again to post the job.


Q. Can I repost my job that has expired?

A.  Repost is available within the JobTarget App. The user will go to the job they are looking to repost and get back into the JobTarget App. From here there will be a drop down where you can show the "Already Advertised On...." section. There you will see an option to repost.


   


Q. When I am editing a job, do I need to add the job boards to the cart and go through the checkout process again?

A.  No, the edit of the job board is updated and does not require checkout. But you can add additional boards during the edit process.  The original job boards are disabled so they cannot be added to the cart.



Q. How can I use my inventory from other job boards?

A.  You must enter information about your job site login/inventory in the Add / Replenish Site Inventory. Once submitted, JobTarget will contact you within 48 hours to activate the site inventory. To activate go to menu icon> select Add Site Inventory>Select your option based on the image below>Fill in information requested



Q. Can I post a job using JobTarget in multiple Languages?

A.  Yes, if a job is published in multiple language, it will get posted as a single job post. Job Titles and Job Description in all the available languages will be published together in the same job post.

 

Q. If a job is auto closed and manually closed, will it be removed from all job boards?

A.  Yes, if a job is auto closed or manually, it will be removed from all the job boards.

 

Q. Will Wisestep bill my organization for purchases on JobTarget?

A.  No, Wisestep does not bill your organization for purchases on JobTarget. JobTarget charges a small $5 posting fee. It provides all the above listed benefits including delivery of your job postings, and customer support for your posting. Payments are made per transaction by credit card.
